CourseGraphic Foundations in Carpentry is a practical course combining lecture and hands-on instruction. Topics addressed include: Orientation to the Trade; Building Materials, Fasteners, and Adhesives; Hand and Power Tools; Introduction to Construction Drawings, Specifications, and Layout; Floor Systems; Wall Systems; Ceiling Joist and Roof Framing; Introduction to Building Envelope Systems; Basic Stair Layout.
*Before registering for any of Liberty’s Non-Credit Technical Studies courses, you must obtain your NCCER card number. If you do not have an NCCER card, you may go to NCCER.org and create an account to get your number.

*Students must have either completed the CORE course prior to enrolling in this Level 1 course or be enrolled in the CORE course for the same semester as this Level 1 course, in order to enroll in this Level 1 course.
