Please read:  MUST READ: INTRODUCTION TO THE BUILDING TRADES This course requires students submit video recordings demonstrating safe and proper use of tools and equipment. By registering for the course, the student affirms that he or she possesses, or has reliable access to, the tools and equipment identified in the Required Minimum Equipment List below and has the ability to safely and clearly record and upload all required demonstrations. By submitting any video recordings as part of this course, you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for creating and submitting recordings demonstrating required competencies and you consent to Liberty University (“Liberty”) receiving, accessing, reviewing, and using such recordings for instructional, grading, evaluation, quality assurance, accreditation, and program improvement purposes in accordance with Liberty’s applicable policies. You grant Liberty a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, display, and distribute your recordings for these purposes, consistent with its policies. You represent and warrant that your recordings and related activities comply with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as all Liberty rules, policies, instructions, and safety requirements, and that the recordings accurately depict your own work in accordance with course requirements. You further represent that only you will appear in the recordings and that no other individuals will be included. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Liberty University, its trustees, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to the recordings you create and share with Liberty as part of the course. The student acknowledges that it is his or her responsibility to ensure all activities are performed in a safe manner and in accordance with applicable safety standards and best practices.
