The third and final class in the general firearm series. This two-hour course focuses on range time and handling a concealed carry firearm. You will begin with a draw-from-concealment practice where you will drill down on best practices for drawing a firearm and addressing a threat. After that, you will have a number of popular concealed-carry firearms and holsters to try in a live-fire situation. You will also experience a scenario to simulate real-life self-defense situation. This scenario will change from class to class to allow for repeat learning opportunities. Class will be held at Liberty Mountain Gun Club and will start promptly at 5:00 pm.
General Firearm Safety and Practical Applications 101 are prerequisites to sign up for this course.
Note: Proof of prior attendance at either the LUPD or the LMGC safety course meets the pre-requisite requirement.
Closed toe shoes, a belt, and crew neck shirts are mandatory. This is a concealed-carry course, so a second shirt or light jacket are strongly suggested. If you are bringing your own firearm, you should have 50 rounds of ammunition for it. RSO’s will inspect personally-owned firearms and holsters for serviceability prior to the class.
Seats are limited, and preregistration is required!
