ASD: Relevant Considerations in Today’s Classroom

« back to classes page
ClassGraphic Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) are impacted in a variety of ways based on unique communication, behavioral and social impacts. The growing prevalence of diagnosis and the range of impact have required educators in all settings to differentiate their supports in order to meet the need of all learners. In order to address these unique learning needs, educators must be able to understand key characteristics of ASD and broad strategies that are supported by research. These modules explore foundational characteristics and needs for learners with ASD and best practices to support students with ASD across developmental and grade level and content area.
